WOLF&SON ON THE NEWS
Feb 24, 2016
Wolf & Son has received great press from our last presence at MICAM tradefair, showcasing the AW16 fall-winter collection for Man/Boy in our Pop-Up Shop exhibition stand.
Jornal de Noticias economy paper came to visit and interview us at the manufacture and published an article on our label's birth and early rise. You can read it here (portuguese only).
Article transcript: "Wolf&Son was born a year and a half ago and was designed so that father and son can connect through wearing similar shoes. The portuguese brand has already won customers in the US, Korea and Japan. Cristiano and Marta Lopes are the example of the rejuvenation of the footwear industry in Portugal. They followed in the footsteps of their father and grandfather, being the third family generation dedicated to the manufacture of shoes. Cristiano has a degree in Economics and his sister Marta has a degree in Communication Sciences, but all their professional activity has taken place in the family shoemaking business. They moved forward with the creation of Wolf & Son, because they believe that in owning their own label lies much of the added value." by Ilídia Pinto in Dinheiro Vivo.
Wolf & Son also made it to the nacional prime-time news in an interview and video report by SIC Television made at the MICAM, highlighting new labels and concepts in the footwear industry designed in Portugal. You can see it here (portuguese only).
We're happy with the positive feedback received and very much committed to continue to walk this path.

Campaign SS—15
Jan 12, 2015
Wolf & Son debut collection presents timeless design shoe models, both classic and fresh, dedicated to men and boys. Classical, clean and contemporary, the Spring Summer 15 campaign introduces our label and collection to the public. The still-life photography figuratively presents our brand imagery in scenography sets that use brand promotional pieces and vintage craft tools to showcase our shoe models. Having the contempory male with style culture in mind, the campaign seeks inspiration in men's magazines editorial classics, where personal objects become identifiers of the man's character. Special thanks to creative director Alexandra Mendes at BLANK and invited photographer J Sousa.
